How to Book
Travelers should request availability for their chosen date via email or phone.
Once we confirm availability, we will send you an attached quote indicating the required deposit to confirm your booking. This deposit must be paid via direct deposit, bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal (5% surcharge). The remaining balance will be due upon arrival at our center.
Before making the deposit, clients must contact Calima Surf to ensure availability for the requested places.
Otherwise, Calima Surf is not responsible for any overbookings.
1. General Conditions (Valid for All Services)
Changes can be requested upon arrival at the school, but modifications cannot reduce the number of participants, days, or the total price of the original booking.
If reductions are requested, Calima reserves the right not to refund any amount.
2. Surf Camp
Cancellation by the Participant / No-Show
No refund will be issued if the participant does not show up.
Reductions in days, participants, or total booking price are not allowed.
Exceptions
Cancellation at least 30 working days before the start date
Amounts paid will be refunded, minus €35 in administration fees.
Cancellation between 7 and 30 working days before the start of the camp
No cash refund will be issued, but the amount paid will be kept as a voucher for a future booking, valid for up to 12 months and transferable to third parties.
The student may choose new dates, subject to availability.
Cancellation less than 7 working days before the start
There will be no refund or voucher.
A full penalty will apply as administration costs.
Cancellation by the Company
If Calima cancels for internal reasons (for example, lack of instructors)
100% refund.
If the cancellation is due to adverse sea conditions (waves that are too large, dangerous currents, or unsafe conditions for practice)
The participant will be offered the option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties.
3. Surf Lessons (Single Lessons or Packages)
Cancellation by the Participant / No-Show
No refunds will be issued if the participant does not show up.
Reductions in days, participants, or total booking price are not allowed.
In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the participant loses any right to compensation.
Exceptions
Cancellation at least 24 hours in advance
The participant will be offered the option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties.
Accident during the lesson, with medical certificate provided
A voucher will be issued for the remaining lessons.
Cancellation by the Company
Internal reasons
100% refund.
Adverse sea conditions (large waves, dangerous currents, or unsafe situations)
Another date will be proposed for the activity or a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties, will be issued.
4. Equipment Rental
Cancellation by the Participant
No refund is possible once the rental period has started.
If cancelled at least 24 hours in advance
The participant will be offered the option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties.
No-Show
No refund or compensation.
Cancellation by the Company
If Calima is unable to provide the equipment
100% refund.
5. External Activities (Yoga, Kitesurfing, Diving, etc.)
For these activities, Calima acts solely as an intermediary.
No refunds will be issued by Calima, and we adhere to the cancellation policy of each provider company.
It is recommended to book these activities close to the desired date, in order to ensure that they can take place depending on sea and weather conditions.
6. Important Notice
All cancellations, changes, or incidents must be communicated to the shop staff or the reservations department at the following number: +34 626 91 33 69.
Surf instructors are not responsible for handling cancellations, changes, or incidents.
