Unique teaching system: train your surfing in and out of the water
In our school, we don’t just teach you how to surf, we help you to improve your technique in an accelerated way with a comprehensive training method.
We are the only surf school in Lanzarote that incorporates the Drysurf and Gyroboards teaching systems, two innovative tools specifically designed to prepare surfers out of the water.
Thanks to these systems, you work on unstable platforms that simulate the movements of real surfing, allowing you to improve your balance, strength, coordination and posture from dry land.
Functional training for surfers: Drysurf and Gyroboards
Surfing is trained in and out of the water. That’s why we include functional sessions on land in our lessons and surf camps, supported by the Drysurf and Gyroboards teaching systems. These exercises improve technique, reduce the risk of injury and increase your real progression in the sea.
We train in our own 200 m² gym, fully equipped and oriented to:
- Simulation of real surfing movements
- Pop-up, carving and core control exercises
- Stability and proprioception work
- Neuromuscular coordination applied to surfing
Real-time technical correction
We complement the training with photographs and videos of your sessions in the water. These materials are analysed with our team to make technical photo-corrections, which will help you to identify and improve your mistakes in a precise and visual way.
Specific times and sessions
- Tuesdays and Fridays from 17:30 to 19:00 h: gym sessions with Drysurf and Gyroboards.
- Exclusive access for students of our surf camps and courses.
- Classes adapted to each level: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Qualified instructors and personalised approach
All classes are led by Borja, who has a degree in Physical Education and more than 10 years of experience in teaching surfing. His approach is personalised, adapting the exercises to the abilities and objectives of each student.
