For the months of July and August we recommend the earlier the better, the rest of the year usually two or three weeks before the trip is enough and even a week or a day before, if we have free places you will be welcome.
Yes, if there is availability for the new date it will not be a problem.
We will kindly ask you to settle the bill when you arrive. You can also pay your bill in full before you arrive at the Surf Camp.

As soon as you inform us of the services you want to hire (usually via e-mail or whatsapp), we will send you the amount, and if you are interested, we will send you the Paypal link so that you can also pay by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
No. We prefer to send you the link to the bank’s Tpv. Once you click on the link, we will ask you to insert some payment details. Everything is executed under a secure Caixabank connection.
General information
We have customers from all over the world, especially from mainland Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the UK.
From November onwards it gets dark at 18:30 and as the months go by it gets darker a little later, in summer it gets dark around 21:30.
Yes, we do not close any month of the year.
We offer surfing, kitesurfing, diving, hiking, yoga and mountain bike rental.
– Sunscreen.
– Full face sunscreen (you can use zinc cream only for sensitive areas such as nose, lips and cheeks).
– Sunglasses and hat.
– Beach towel.
– Ear plugs if your ears are sensitive or if you have ear problems.
– Swimming trunks to wear under your wetsuit.
The temperature in Lanzarote drops a little at night so we recommend bringing some warm clothes, especially from November to mid-June.
Not for classes, but if you are under 18, we need written consent from your parents or guardians.
Accommodation
We have in the surfhouse 1 and 2 bed, very spacious and comfortable rooms.
Yes, we provide sheets, blankets and bath towels.

We have accommodation in private rooms in our surfhouses and some private flats, all less than 100 metres from Famara beach.
Surfing equipment
Yes, the conditions are explained below:
– We will require your passport or ID card.
– The timetable for rentals is from 9:00 to 19:00.
– You must deliver the material before 19:00h.
The equipment is included in the lessons. You will do two surf sessions per day, it is normal to feel tired afterwards, but if you want to use the equipment outside the lessons just let us know at the reception and we will tell you the conditions.
Yes, we have special boards for beginners with foam material, also Nsp boards of all sizes, epoxy boards of the brand Surf Canarias, boards, minimalibu and short boards of various sizes. Also wetsuits in all sizes.
Surf lessons
There is no minimum number of people but there is a maximum ratio on the beach of 8 students per surf instructor and 4 beginners with the same level per kite instructor.
Classes normally start the day after your arrival.
The classes have a duration of 2 hours or 4 hours a day, depending on the programme you have chosen, we give theory and practice in the sand, then in the water you will spend an hour and a quarter approximately in each shift, then in the afternoons we will do functional exercises oriented to surfing and to progress quickly, in our gymnasium.
Yes, but only if we have one of the monitors available. It is best to book in advance.
No, you can arrive and leave whenever you want. You can also arrive at the Surfcamp before or after the lessons start.
Yes, of course you can and we will even pick you up from hotels in Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen or Arrecife, we have a free pick up service for our school for a minimum of two people.
This is an ideal age to start surfing, in fact the best age is 8 or 9 years old. They could start with a private lesson, although in a conventional class they might feel more motivated learning with other children. We have wetsuits in all sizes for children and softboards for beginners. Our surf instructors are certified by the Canarian and Spanish surf federation and have a lot of experience with children.
Yes, except on Sundays, although if you are a group you can consult us and we can organise it for you.
Surf
Famara beach, the pier, the sunken boat 2 minutes away and the beach of San Juan 10 minutes walk.
Approximately 10 km by road with no traffic.
Due to the amount of surf spots, you can find waves for all levels.
The coldest is in January and February, it is around 18ºC (we recommend 3/2 wetsuit). In August it is around 22,23 and up to 24ºC in September (you can surf only with a swimming costume) and the rest of the year it reaches 18,19ºC (we recommend a 3/2 wetsuit).
Yes, most of the spots are rocky or volcanic lava, only at Famara beach you can surf with a guarantee of NOT hitting a rock, there are also the beaches of La Garita and Orzola which are sandy, although at the ends there are rocks and when it gets big the current can take you to the rocks.
Lanzarote is a very consistent place for surfing, in fact it is called the Hawaii of Europe. It has very famous waves and it works very well from September to the end of February, for beginners we have good waves all year round as in Famara beach you can always find a few waves where you can learn.
The best seasons are autumn and winter.
