Who is the surf course for beginners intended for?
The surf course for beginners is designed for those who want to start from scratch or students with some knowledge who want to improve their techniques, learn to surf in our academy (Canary Islands-Spain). We offer a new and very effective teaching system, you will learn in record time and with guarantee.

The school is located just 50 meters from the beach, a paradise on the northwest coast of the island, a wonderful place on the Atlantic coast of Spain, a place with the best magic for practicing and learning how to surf. You will have the best facilities in our surf school at the beach and with the best material renewed every season: a 200 m2 gym to perform functional exercises oriented to surfing, projection room with photos corrections, Drysurf, Gyroboards, functional training system balance to progress quickly in this level of initiation.
Our instructors are 100% motivated with the sole objective of teaching surfing, adapting to all levels of participants, surf lessons and complete courses oriented to your rapid progression. We have the best technology in machinery for teaching, undoubtedly one of the best surf schools in the Canary Islands with fully qualified instructors with many years of experience.
How does the day's lesson unfold?
Upon arrival at our school we will distribute the wetsuits to all participants and we will go to the beach, once we get to the beach, we will distribute the boards to all students and go down to the sand where we will start with a small warm up and stretching of the muscles that we will work during the surf session, then we will divide into several small groups, different levels and even languages (Spanish and English), no more than 8 students per instructor and we will start with the theory of safety.no more than 8 students per instructor and once the groups are distributed among the different instructors we will start with the security theory, something that we take very seriously in each class..
What will you learn in a day of lessons?
After seeing the safety rules, you will learn the correct posture to be able to paddle and catch the waves, and the different basic forms of a good standing on the board, all this you will practice first on the sand before entering the water and start to feel the first emotions, a mix between adrenaline and pure fun.
Once you have got the correct standing and balance while surfing the foam, we will start teaching you how to accelerate, how to brake and how to go left or right and even how to change direction, all this takes a process of time and not everyone learns at the same speed, it all depends on the agility and fitness of each person, but at the end of a day’s course everyone ends up getting to stand up and surf a wave.
If you have a higher level and consider that you already know how to stand up and surf in both directions of the wave, you have a good enough paddle to get to the line up where the break is and catch green waves, we recommend visit the intermediate courses or meybe you prefer a private classes o for childrens.

Our surf school organizes pick ups from
hotels for free!
Do you need us to pick you up at your hotel? If you are staying in Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Puerto Calero, La Santa or Costa Teguise. At our school we can offer you a free pick-up service for a minimum of two people and for any program of 4 hours a day. In this case we need to know the name of the hotel or apartment where you are staying, address and a contact mobile number to pick you up at the main gate at 9:00, and you will be back around 16:00.
If you want to come in your car directly you will have to be at our surf academy at 9:15 so you will be ready at 9.50 to leave for the beach.
