The best option for learning to dive

In diving, the adventure, fascination and admiration evoked by life at the bottom of the sea are intertwined. This sport allows you to experience a whole new way of seeing the world, through the majesty of the seabed.

We are passionate about diving and we want you to live that experience with us. Our main objective is to transmit all the secrets of this discipline in a fun and safe way, with options for all tastes.

Our center is a SSI center and has the infrastructure and facilities to live a complete learning experience, with teachers who have more than 10 years of experience in teaching diving.

The proposal includes a wide variety of courses, both for beginners and more experienced, with dives throughout the day and night, in the best locations of Puerto del Carmen, on the island of Lanzarote.

In addition, we have the option of renting complete diving equipment, guide and boat; classes are given every day of the week, including holidays and long weekends.

Diving is much more than fun, it represents a whole sport experience that improves our relationship with the sea. You can choose from one of these options, according to your level of knowledge:

Baptism into diving course:

The baptism represents the first immersion into the sea and is aimed at students over 14 years of age. It lasts three hours and is done at a maximum depth of between 6 and 8 meters in Playa Chica. It is important that minors are accompanied by their parents.

Basic course of initiation SSI Scuba Diver:

Ideal for those who wish to experience diving, but do not have much time to do so. There are five dives of which three are in the pool and two in the open sea, with three modules of audiovisual theory. They take place over two or three days, from 15.00 to 19.00. This qualification allows you to dive anywhere in the world up to 12 metres with a diving suit accompanied by an expert teacher.

Introductory course in the sea Open water divers:

The starting point to get certified as a diver. There are a total of five dives in the pool and four in the open sea. The course is given in groups of no more than four students per teacher, in order to provide more personalized instruction. It takes place over four or five days, from 15.00 to 19.00 hours, and its certification allows you to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 metres with a diving suit and in Spain up to 25 metres, in the company of any friend who is an Open Water Diver.

SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

One more step in your diving knowledge and skills. This course takes place over three days and has a total of five open water dives. One dive to 30 meters is required to obtain the qualification and the rest where the student wants, usually to the wrecks of Puerto del Carmen. This certification allows diving with a diving suit up to 30 meters deep anywhere in the world.

For your convenience, we have a pick-up service from the hotels Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise.

It is essential to bring a medical certificate for any of these courses. For those courses with qualifications, you must bring your ID or passport to the centre, as well as a 4.5mm x 5.5mm photo. We also recommend that you take out an accident insurance policy with the company World Nomads or Europ assistance.
